Acts 20:17-38
21 I told Jews and Gentiles to turn to God and have faith in our Lord Jesus. 22 I don’t know what will happen to me in Jerusalem, but I must obey God’s Spirit and go there. 23 In every city I visit, I am told by the Holy Spirit that I will be put in jail and will be in trouble in Jerusalem. 24 But I don’t care what happens to me, as long as I finish the work that the Lord Jesus gave me to do. And that work is to tell the good news about God’s great kindness.

It is interesting how specificly talks about God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.

Paul went to see Aquila and Priscilla 3 and found out that they were tent makers. Paul was a tent maker too. So he stayed with them, and they worked together.

Paul had common skill and interest with this couple.

Kevin Maurer and I had an interesting conversation with a guy we work with Chris.

He does not seem to be a believer, and is not convinced the Bible has any effect on people. It was interesting. I did not really know how to convince him that the Bible is worth believing in. That it can change your life. But is that my job, or am I just a witness to what God has done in my life.

I have thinking a lot about Josh McDowell's talk. The fact that High School kids when they go off the college are "abanding the faith". Is that a big suprise. Do we have a support system set up for them? Do we go to college with them? Find them a church. Do they have a strong christian friend going to college with them? We are sending the sheep to the slaughter. Before God owned the field they were going too, supposedly. Now the devil owns it.
